Formula and limits
Remaining cash = max(0, goal − saved). Current time = remaining cash ÷ current tank /s. New time = remaining cash ÷ (current tank /s + added pet /s). Time saved is the difference. A zero income rate cannot reach a positive cash goal in this simple model.
The model assumes a pet can be added immediately, its printed rate contributes to tank income, and income accrues continuously at that rate. It does not include rescue time, tank space, boosts, upgrades, visitors, selling, offline income or balance changes. Compare the result with what your actual counter does before spending.
Why the sample is not a pet tier list
The 0.7/s Small Turtle and 13/s Flatfish are two reported card examples, not fixed rates for every turtle or flatfish. A golden large blowfish was separately reported at 288/s, but its acquisition requirements and exact card conditions are unknown. Use the example to learn the math, then type the numbers on your own screen.

Numerical examples on this page are attributed community transcriptions of public gameplay and UI from September 2026; we have not measured them in our own game session.
